Halfway Point of My Fundraiser for ME/CFS Research

We are halfway through my fundraising campaign for Open Medicine Foundation, an organisation that raises funds to help and stimulate research into Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (also known as ME/CFS) and other complex illnesses such as fibromyalgia and Lyme Disease.

For more on my reasons to fund for this non-profit, do read my previous blog!

So far we’ve raised over $300!!! I am amazed by this amount. I have upped the goal three times already and I am incredibly thankful to all of you who have already donated. It means a lot to me personally that you care. Thank you!

Would you also like to contribute to fund research? You can still do so here!

If you are unable to, fret not! Sharing the fundraiser on your own social media – for example by using the ‘share’ options below this post – also helps to attract attention to this fundraiser, and the illness itself, and as most of you know I am all about raising awareness around chronic illness.

To that end, I still post daily snippets of my life with this condition on my Instagram. Stop by if you’re curious!

If you have any questions about the fundraiser, such as payment (quick answer: you can donate via (somebody else’s) credit card or Apple Pay) or about the illness, drop me a comment below!

Three more weeks! Let’s see where we can get the fundraiser to together!

Lots of love and gratitude,
